The proximity to other attractions adds to its allure; after attending a captivating performance, I enjoyed leisurely strolls to nearby sites like the Church of Nossa Senhora da Conceicao and the serene Quinta do Covelo, soaking in the vibrant aesthetics of the city along the way.
Not far from the auditorium, I also explored the iconic Ponte de Dom Luis I, a remarkable piece of engineering that offers breathtaking views of the Douro River and the picturesque cityscape.
