Slowly Garden House Porto

During my visit to Porto, one of the highlights was the Porto City Park, located a mere 0.5 km away from my accommodations. This expansive green space provided a refreshing escape from the hustle and bustle of the city, featuring sprawling lawns, tranquil walking paths, and vibrant gardens that showcased the area’s natural beauty. I delighted in the serene ambiance while taking leisurely strolls, and the interaction with local flora and fauna made for a peaceful retreat. The park’s design encouraged exploration, and every corner revealed stunning vistas and hidden gems, allowing me to unwind and appreciate the great outdoors.

Just a short distance away, I found the captivating "She Changes" sculpture, standing proudly at 1 km from my location. This iconic piece of artwork, designed by artist Rowan Lea, captured the essence of movement and transformation, mirroring the dynamic spirit of Porto itself. As I meandered along to the Castle of the Cheese, another notable landmark within 1 km, I was fascinated by its whimsical architecture and rich history, which created a remarkable contrast to the modern vibe of the nearby structures. I also enjoyed the serene beauty of the Pergola of Foz and the Passeio Alegre Garden, both of which offered stunning views of the coastline. The nearby Matosinhos Beach provided a perfect finale to my day, with its golden sands and soothing ocean waves inviting moments of relaxation and reflection. Lastly, a visit to the Florbela Espanca Municipal Library added a cultural touch to my experience, where I reveled in the tranquil atmosphere surrounded by literature and art.
