The market was bustling with activity, and I enjoyed exploring the stalls filled with fresh produce, artisanal goods, and traditional delicacies.
Another highlight of staying at Casa Castanha was the easy access to historic sites such as the Soares dos Reis National Museum and Ribeira Square. The museum provided a fascinating glimpse into Porto's rich artistic heritage, while the square offered stunning views of the Douro River and the colorful buildings lining its banks. I spent hours wandering through the museum's galleries and soaking in the ambiance of the bustling square, which was always alive with locals and tourists alike.
