One of the things I loved about Porto Villa was its proximity to Jardins do Palacio de Cristal. Located just 1.54 km away, these beautiful gardens provided a serene and picturesque escape from the bustling city. I enjoyed leisurely walks through the carefully landscaped greenery, taking in the stunning views of the Douro River and the city skyline. The peaceful atmosphere of the gardens was truly a highlight of my stay at Porto Villa.

Another nearby landmark that captured my interest was the Church of Saint Ildefonso, which was only 0.16 km away. The church's striking facade adorned with beautiful blue and white tiles instantly caught my attention. Inside, the intricately detailed altars and religious art showcased the rich history and cultural heritage of Porto. I found myself captivated by the beauty and serenity of this religious site, and it was a joy to be just a short stroll away from it during my stay.

Additionally, the Portuguese Centre of Photography, situated a mere 0.66 km from Porto Villa, was a true gem for me as a lover of visual arts. Housed in the stunning Convento da Igreja do Carmo, the center showcased a diverse range of exhibitions and collections dedicated to the art of photography. I was able to immerse myself in the works of both local and international photographers, gaining a deeper appreciation for this expressive medium. The combination of the historical setting and the beauty of photography made my visit to the Portuguese Centre of Photography an unforgettable experience.
