During my visit to Porto, one of the highlights was undoubtedly the iconic Ponte de Dom Luis I, which gracefully spans the Douro River. This remarkable bridge, with its impressive steel structure and panoramic views, allowed me to take in the stunning vistas of the city and its waterfront. Walking across the upper level was exhilarating, as I felt the breeze and marveled at the sight of colorful buildings and bustling river activity below. This serene garden, located just half a kilometer from my accommodation, offered an escape from the city's hustle and bustle. The views over the Douro River from the garden were simply breathtaking, providing a calming atmosphere where I could relax and reflect. It was a delightful place to unwind, perhaps with a book in hand, while soaking in the natural beauty and tranquility that surrounded me.

Exploring the rich literary culture of Porto led me to Livraria Lello, just a short distance from my hotel. This historic bookstore is often hailed as one of the most beautiful in the world, and I was in awe of its exquisite architecture and intricate wooden staircases. Stepping inside felt like entering a realm of fantasy—rows of books lined the shelves, and the vibrant stained glass window illuminated the space with a warm glow. After browsing through the books and soaking up the ambiance, I left with a newfound appreciation for Porto's literary history. The combination of stunning landmarks, serene gardens, and cultural treasures made my experience in Porto truly unforgettable.
