Nestled among the narrow, winding streets, this beautifully intricate piece of architecture captivated me with its ornate carvings and inviting atmosphere. Continuing my exploration, I made my way to the iconic Bolsa Palace and the magnificent Monument Church of St. Francis, both only a kilometer away. The impressive neoclassical architecture of Bolsa Palace left me in awe, with its grand interiors showcasing the opulence of Porto's merchant era. Nearby, the Church of St. Francis, renowned for its baroque interior adorned with gilded woodwork, was an unforgettable experience. I couldn't resist walking across the iconic Ponte de Dom Luis I, which offered breathtaking views of the Douro River and the cityscape. Concluding my day at the lively Cais da Ribeira, I enjoyed the bustling atmosphere, with its vibrant colors and lively waterfront, truly encapsulating the spirit of Porto.
