Garden House Villa Porto

During my visit to Porto, one of the highlights was undoubtedly the majestic Livraria Lello. Known for its stunning neo-Gothic architecture and intricate wooden interiors, this historic bookstore captivated my imagination. Wandering through its aisles, I felt as though I had stepped into a world of magic and literature, with spiral staircases and stained glass lending a surreal ambiance. The atmosphere was rich with the scent of old books, and browsing through classic volumes while surrounded by such beauty made it a memorable experience.

Not far from the captivating streets of Porto, I also enjoyed the tranquility of Parque do Carrical, just a kilometer away. This park provided a serene escape from the bustling city life, allowing me to unwind amidst the lush greenery and well-maintained gardens. Strolling along its winding paths, I appreciated the peaceful ambiance and scenic views. It was a perfect spot for reflection and enjoying nature, particularly in the early morning when the light filtered through the trees, creating a serene and invigorating atmosphere.

Adding to my experience in this vibrant city were the cultural offerings at the Casa do Design Matosinhos and the nearby Florbela Espanca Municipal Library. The Casa do Design Matosinhos was a treasure trove for design enthusiasts, showcasing innovative works and exhibitions that celebrated creativity. Meanwhile, the library, dedicated to the famed Portuguese poet Florbela Espanca, provided a cozy corner for literary exploration and a deeper connection to the local culture. Together, these landmarks, alongside the lively North Shopping and inviting Parque Municipal da Quinta da Conceicao, enriched my visit, offering a delightful blend of culture, nature, and tranquility in Porto.
