Being so close to the beautiful Jardins do Palácio de Cristal, where I spent some time strolling through the lush gardens while enjoying panoramic views of the Douro River, made the experience even more delightful.
Exploring the historical aspects of Porto was equally rewarding, particularly my visit to Avenida dos Aliados and the nearby Ponte de Dom Luis I. Avenida dos Aliados, with its grand architecture and vibrant atmosphere, encapsulates the city's essence, making it a perfect spot to absorb the local culture. I loved wandering around the surrounding cafés and shops, getting a taste of Porto's charm. Furthermore, walking across the iconic Ponte de Dom Luis I offered breathtaking views of the Ribeira district, and the picturesque river below.
