As I wandered through the streets leading to Avenida dos Aliados and eventually made my way to the stunning Ribeira Square and the picturesque Cais da Ribeira, I felt immersed in the city's lively atmosphere. Just a short walk from the Soares dos Reis National Museum, which showcased a fantastic collection of Portuguese art and sculpture, I delighted in discovering local shops and cafés that filled the air with the aroma of freshly baked pastries. The historic Fernandine Wall, standing proudly at 2 km, served as a poignant reminder of Porto's storied past, while the vibrant life of the waterfront captivated me as I watched the Douro River flow by. The combination of art, history, and lively energy truly made my Porto experience unforgettable.
