I also enjoyed wandering around the bustling Mercado do Bolhao, where the local atmosphere truly came alive; the clamorous exchanges between vendors and patrons and the vibrant selection of fresh produce and traditional Portuguese goods provided a delightful sensory experience.

Additionally, I was drawn to the serene beauty of the Jardins do Palacio de Cristal, where I took a leisurely stroll amid the lush greenery and picturesque views overlooking the Douro River. Just a short walk away, the iconic Ponte de Dom Luis I showcased the stunning engineering of the 19th century, bridging the landscape between Porto and Vila Nova de Gaia. In the heart of the city, Avenida dos Aliados, with its grand architecture, created a lively backdrop for people-watching as locals and tourists alike gathered. Finally, the historic Porto Cathedral offered a peaceful respite, blending spiritual serenity with breathtaking views of the surrounding area, while Ribeira Square, with its bustling restaurants and lively ambiance, was the perfect spot to conclude my days, soaking in the beauty of this mesmerizing city.
