Arrabida House Villa Porto

During my visit to Porto, one of the highlights was definitely Livraria Lello, a stunning bookstore that feels like stepping into a literary fairy tale. Its intricate neo-Gothic façade, with grand wooden bookcases and a breathtaking winding staircase, was absolutely enchanting. The atmosphere inside was filled with a rich history of literature and warmth, as visitors wandered through the aisles, captivated by the extensive collection of books. The attention to detail in the architecture and the charming ambiance made me want to linger there for hours, sipping coffee and soaking in the literary magic of the space.

Nearby, the Mercado do Bolhão was another favorite spot, pulsating with the vibrant energy of local life. The market showcased an eclectic mix of fresh produce, artisan goods, and traditional Portuguese delicacies. Strolling through the stalls, I was treated to the colorful displays of fruits and vegetables, the inviting aromas of homemade pastries, and the friendly banter of local vendors. Just a short walk away, the Porto Cathedral and Clerigos Tower offered spectacular views of the city, while the banks of Cais da Ribeira provided a picturesque backdrop for evening strolls. The Electric Tram Museum was a delightful find as well, showcasing the city's rich transport history, and, of course, enjoying a ride on the historic trams was a nostalgic journey through time.
